Tires: Make sure that all your tires are inflated to the right pressure that is indicated in the owner’s manual. Under-inflation means more power for your car and more fuel usage.

Air Filters: Change your air filter according to your vehicle’s preference. A clogged air filter will result in more power from the engine so your vehicle will run smoothly as this results to more burning of fuel.

Driving Style: Driving smoothly by taking it easy on the throttle and brakes can significantly improve your fuel economy.

Windows: Put your windows up if you’re on a speed above 60mph as this can reduce aerodynamic drag. Wind will get inside your air creating resistance with your rear window which will cause your engine to work harder.

Weight: Less weight, better mileage. Get rid of junk or unnecessary things that make your car heavy. Not only you’ll be saving up with fuel, but your car will also be faster.

Spark Plugs: If you want to save up on fuel, replace your spark plugs as they help in burn fuel more efficiently.

Inspect Suspension: Inspect for any misalignment with on your suspensions. Go for a wheel balance and wheel alignment to get a better fuel economy and safe driving conditions.

Oil: Don’t just go for any oil because this can cause problems with the engine. Consult your owner’s manual to determine what type of oil is appropriate for your car.
